# Currency Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Currency ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the Currency application (the "App").

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using the App. If you do not agree with its terms, please stop using the App.

## 1. Services Provided by the App

Currency provides reference exchange-rate conversions, comparisons of amounts across multiple currencies, recent reference-rate trends, favorite currency pairs, conversion history, and result-sharing features.

The App does not provide money transfers, currency exchange, investments, loans, or other financial transaction services, nor does it provide financial advice. The displayed exchange rates are provided for reference only and may differ from the actual rates offered by banks, credit card providers, or money-transfer services.

## 2. Information We Handle

### 2.1 Information Stored on Your Device

The following information is stored on your device:

- Favorite currency pairs;
- Recent conversion records;
- Cached reference exchange rates; and
- Local settings related to the App's interface or features.

We do not require you to create a Currency account to use these local features. You can delete this locally stored information by using the clearing functions available in the App or by uninstalling the App.

### 2.2 Exchange-Rate and Remote-Configuration Requests

To provide current and historical reference exchange rates, the App connects to the Frankfurter service over the internet. The App may also access our remote-configuration service during startup or operation to retrieve runtime configuration.

When processing these requests, network services may ordinarily receive your IP address, the time of the request, network information supplied by your device or operating system, and basic request logs. The applicable retention periods and handling practices depend on the relevant service provider and our service configuration.

### 2.3 Push-Notification Information

The App uses OneSignal to provide push-notification functionality. Depending on your device platform, system permissions, and our OneSignal configuration, OneSignal may process:

- A OneSignal ID and push-subscription ID;
- An APNs or FCM push token;
- Basic device information, such as device type, operating system, App version, and language; and
- Notification subscription status and interaction information, such as sending, delivery, or notification clicks.

### 2.5 Sharing

When you choose to share a conversion result, the App opens your device's system share menu. The relevant text is provided to the destination app only after you select that app. The destination app handles the information in accordance with its own privacy policy.

## 3. Purposes for Which We Use Information

We may handle information for the following purposes:

- To provide, maintain, and improve the currency-conversion and exchange-rate-trend features;
- To retrieve runtime configuration and maintain normal service operation;
- To send App notifications that you have agreed to receive;
- To maintain notification subscriptions and evaluate notification delivery or interaction;
- To prevent misuse, troubleshoot issues, and maintain security; and
- To comply with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, or lawful requests.

We do not use the App to conduct undisclosed financial transactions, and we do not sell the conversion history or favorite currency pairs stored on your device.

## 4. Information Sharing and Service Providers

To provide the App's functionality, we may allow the following service providers to process necessary information:

- Frankfurter, which provides reference and historical exchange-rate data; and
- OneSignal, which provides push notifications, subscription management, and related services.

We may also disclose necessary information when required by law, to protect users or public safety, to safeguard lawful rights and interests, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of assets.

Before publication, list all actual service providers and relevant links here:

## 5. Data Retention

- Local favorites, history, and cached data remain on your device until you clear the relevant content, clear the App's data, or uninstall the App.
- The retention periods for push identifiers, notification events, server access logs, and remote web data depend on actual business configurations, service-provider policies, and legal requirements.

When information is no longer needed, we will delete, anonymize, or securely isolate it in accordance with applicable law and our actual technical capabilities.

## 6. Data Security

The App communicates with network services over HTTPS, and we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

If you discover a security issue, please notify us using the contact details provided at the end of this Privacy Policy.

## 7. International Processing

Our service providers may process information outside your country or region, where data-protection laws may differ. We take reasonable measures required by applicable law to protect information processed across borders.

Before publication, supplement this section based on the developer's legal entity and server locations:

You can manage notification permissions in your device's system settings and clear conversion history within the App. To make another request,

We may need to verify your identity. For information that is stored only on your device and that we cannot access, please manage it directly through the App, your system settings, or by uninstalling the App.

## 9. Children's Privacy

The App is not specifically designed for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us without appropriate consent, please contact us, and we will take appropriate action.

If a different age threshold for children applies in a country or region where the App is distributed, we will comply with the applicable local requirements.

## 10. Third-Party Links

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not control the privacy practices of those third parties. Please review the applicable third-party privacy policy before using a third-party service.

## 11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our features, service providers, or legal requirements change. When we do so, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy and, where appropriate, notify you through the App or by another reasonable method.
